I haven't been on here in a while, well for almost 2 years to be exact. I was up there for school for a little while and had the MK6 golf TDI with the GTI swap. I ended up trading in the golf for a tundra while I lived in California, well now I'm back in Arizona and I just picked up a 2014 Jetta GLI. Anyways, I just wanted to say I miss the cruise nights and If anyone is ever in the Phoenix area, hit me up.

Hey dude! A tundra? Well at least you're back in a VW now . . . just waiting for the GDI to come here right? So finally home? Job? Good?

CVO didn't do any AXs this year or Treffen . . things a bit thin I'm afraid. I'm out of town too, now 2+ years . . . being in AZ you are probably familiar with the name of the town.

Hey man. Good to hear from you. I have dropped off too. Busy with my house and just doing different things. Not as much into cars as I used to be, mostly because of the money involved haha.

It's funny how buying a house shifts priorities...

Yes, it's cool though. The car scene has changed too. With that said, I should come out to some more of these winter cruises.

No plans for the GLI, that will mainly be the wife car. I'm currently looking at getting an R32 with a vf stage 2 supercharger on it.

I have to find modded cars since I cant afford to mod them myself with a kid and a house and all those things.

Everything is good here though. I'm glad to be back in Arizona.

It's nice hearing from all of you and again, if anyone is ever in the Phoenix area, let me know.

What generation of R32 would it be? Either way that would be a blast of a car to have. We love our MkIV stock can't imagine adding some boost to it

Is it a GXP or just a GT?

It's JUST a GT lol

It has some go fast parts on it and some nice big brembos to make it stop also.

I think those brakes will definitely come in handy seeing those things are pretty big and heavy

It's one of the lighter modern muscle cars but yes, still a very heavy car.
14" rotors in the front and 14.5" in the rear with brembo 4 piston calipers and ebc yellow stuff pads, I found out how a leather steering wheel tastes the first time I mashed the brake pedal.

It goes fast in a straight line and stops even better, now I just need to figure out how to make it turn well. It has bigger sway bars but it pushes really bad in a turn.
