It feels much better. I have to keep reminding myself not to put any weight on it. I can get a walking cast in three weeks if it is healing . So, i don't want to screw that up.

Damn dude, what the hell? The really sucky part is that at your age bones don't heal as fast as when you're younger. You should be fine by summer . Get a cool cane. That would be Get better man, if you're gunna be around I need to stop by the shop and get the rest of my stuff to take out to the body shop. LMK

Bummer. what part did you break, exactly? I imagine it's pretty hard to wrench on crutches. Maybe the Vortex would hire you on as an online mechanical consultant

Hah!! You weenie!! What's next,... a sharkbite while surfing the North shore of Hawaii during "condition black"!? You have all the fun. Sure beats three days in the hospital with a cocaine laced vanilla wafer cramed up your nose to staunch a nosebleed.

Old news Mike, I spent X-mass a year ago in the hosp. with a "posterior nosebleed". Lost a couple of pints of blood (damn near drownd in my own juice) before they plugged the leak with a couple of what looked like 6" styrofoam fish sticks up my nostrils. I think they were treated with cocaine to constrict the blood vessels, and NO,... I dididn't get high,... at least not from the "fishsticks".

Ok Mike, got you beat on the pain thing. Tue night my calf began cramping which forced my foot to the left which in turn forced my ankle to the right. This movement pushed my break into the side of the cast. I have never felt pain like this in my life before. Had to go back to the doc and get muscle relaxers to stop the cramp.EricI broke the "ear" on the bottom of the tibia(sp?). The part that helps locate the ankle.
