Oh boy.. coming back home from Vernon Hills..
Exiting from Lake Cook RD. to 53 driving south.. I stepped on the gas, fast and... BRRROMMMM
My wheel axle broke from the driver side.. big scratching noise!! WTH!!
Thanks God I could be able do drive home at 45mph until I-290 Harlem Ave... for a minute I thought was my Flywheel or something on the transmission!!
Now I'm home, car makes a lot of noise on the front wheel (driver side) ..and the car pushes to the left all the time + all the bad grease smelling
Monday I'll take to my mechanic to see the total damage $$$.. hope won't cost much!

same happen to me, watching this video below

I'm glad to know you're OK Marcelo and you're home safe. I see i'm not the only one having car issues. We all would like to know the updates on how she is doing (Castrol) and how much time and $$$ is going to thake for her to recover.

Be safe My friend...

Well.. car runs fine, I drove for 5 hours today in the city, no noise, no problems shifting (auto DSG).. everything is ok
What are the symptoms when the differential gets damage?..tell me, because I have no idea!

I would think it'd be making noise, so maybe not. Crazy to think so though after seeing that axle lol.
