VW mechanic recommendations

Post by wenonah » Fri Apr 10, 2015 8:22 am

I have a 2004 Jetta and the older it gets the more peculiar the issues become. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Chicagoland area that is dedicated to only working on VWs or German cars? I live in the near west suburbs so any mechanic near me would be great but I'll look into any really good mechanic no matter where they are located. I'm not interested in going to any of the dealerships.

Hey how about me? :D
Just created my own company, don't like to brag about myself, but I have 20 years exp. wrenching, diagnosing and tuning Japanese and European cars . Still full time tech in one shop in Schaumburg, where we can do just about anything and our oil changes come with free detailed inspection. I can offer mobile Diagnostics, Tuning and Repair!
I have invested lot's of money and time in the latest diagnostic and tuning equipment.
