Maybe I'll throw the Huffs & Direzza's on the Rabbit and place myself in C class... even though it's an A class car!

You're lucky that Unitronic won't switch to "stock" and that I'll probably be in D class.

To Jake, you typo'd September.

Well, I don't have my car right now because the timing belt is in progress, but yes, they're flashing it to Uni as well. Because it's more aggressive than APR is my honest answer. I know the V1.2 file for TSI's is pretty good, but the FSI support is conservative. Being able to adapt to 100 octane without buying a program is cool too.

Hope to see everyone this season! Happy motoring!!!

That is great news on the venues. I am sure that you guys have done all your homework on this, but just beware that several years ago we ran some events at Alexian. It was a good spot, right up until someone from Shaumpton showed up and shut us down in the middle of an event. We had the contract and insurance in order, but someone had complained that "motorsports" are not legal in that location. Of course Autocrossing is not racing, it is a test of driving skill, but we did not win that discussion.

Again, I expect, and hope that we are good to go, because more locations is more better.

Heck, maybe we will make it out to more than one event this year...

Doesn't Windy City Miata have most of their autocross events at Alexian? I don't think it will be a problem if they have been using that location already.

Thanks for the heads up on this. We'll keep this in ming, but I hope with Windy City Miata running their events there for the past year if not longer we should be fine.

Not recently. And maybe for a TSI it's not worth the switch, but for FSI, I think it is.
