Im going to be visiting family down for the weekend and thinking about trailering my scirocco along with me to run with your guys for the day. Its not insured because i dont use it as a street vehicle, plus my insurance doesnt cover motorsports events. Is that an issue?

Not a problem at all, it's a closed course so you waive your insurance (if you have any) when you sign up to run

Hell yeah, sign me up son! Would not miss the last one with one of the best motorsport die-rectors this club has seen. I hope that he pulls all of his tricks on the course design and that we get like 20 runs........

Whoever is taking over next has big shoes to fill in cuz Jake did an outstanding job!

Is it free for spectators to watch and do you allow passengers? Also my passenger window is lexan and does not roll down. Is that an issue? I see in the rules it's required to have both front windows rolled down.

Yes and yes, spectators have to come up to our tent and sign the liability waver if they want to be on the lot and to ride along. Also they need closed toe shoes and a helmet. With the window you'll be fine as long as you can open (if you have one) the drivers side window.

thats what i figured. The clubs i usually run with havnt said anything about the window yet. Just some clubs more strict than others on the rules.

see you all tomorrow morning. looking forward to it.

Thanks for the fun today. Got home safe and fast, maybe a bit too fast thinking how far it is and took me maybe 2.25 hours versus the 2.5 this morning. I hope to see you next year with an improved R32. Need to decide what I feel like modifying. I am sure will be putting a post for ideas and help at some point. Have all fall/winter so can spread out the cost of any changes. Thanks again!

Very awesome event for sure, both of my buddies came out today too. One with the old skool supra and the other with the mazadspeed miata, they had a great time and rally liked the course.

Thank you to everyone involved in planning, producing, and cleaning every autocross. As participants we will never fully understand how much time, work, and effort goes into each event. Thank you again for everyone's hard work. This season was a blast and I look forward to next year.
