Every year with my autocross club, one of the trophies we give out is the Black Cone award. It's given to the driver who had the most interesting cone-related season, whether it was the most cones hit, a cone carried the farthest distance, etc. The first winner got it because he got a cone stuck in his wheel well at an event, and didn't know it. It was STILL in his wheel well at the next event.
This year it was given to the driver with the most cones hit during the season. The fun part is that the winner of the previous award gets to make the trophy for the next winner. I won it last season, and this is the trophy I made for this year:

I took an actual event-used cone and painted it black. I found some mini traffic cones, and using pins, stuck them to the cone. I used a white fine-tipped marker to lay out the course design. The winner drives an Evo IX, but I couldn't find a die-cast of his car, so I had to use an Evo X. The one I found was purple and blue, so I sanded it down, masked it off, primed it and painted it Gun Metal metallic to match his car, and ran a small screw through the cone into the bottom. What you can't see is the cone I put under the car that he 'hit'. To finish it off, I used some dry-transfer decals and out his race number on the sides of the car. The sign was made from foam board, I printed it on a full-sheet label and stuck it to the board, and secured it to the cone with a couple of toothpicks stuck through.
I hope to get the trophy back to get some better pictures, but you get the idea. I had a good time making it (the winner is a friend of mine), and everyone in the club loved it.

Awesome! We're in the planning stages for the upcoming season, but we'll be at our typical hangouts, Columbus 151, Jefferson Speedway, Madison International, Dells Raceway Park, and the season ender at Miller Park in Milwaukee.
We had planned on running at Sugar River Raceway (very nice kart track in Brodhead, WI), but the owner recently paved it and doesn't want us there this season, for fear of damaging the new track surface.
I'll post a MSCC schedule thread when we get the schedule finalized, hopefully we'll be running 9 events this year.
