thx, still got some improvements to make but its been a fun project...

re: cage -- custom made from Alston Racing in Antioch. They do most of their work on drag racers (i.e. they build the cage first, and the make the car around it) and are experts on rollbar/cages. It was kinda funny when i pulled up, they looked at me like i was from a different planet with my little GTI next to these American dragracers. But once they got working on the GTI, they were really impressed with the VW quality - he couldnt stop complimenting the steel contruction on the car...

Anyway, go check out their site, tons of photos. They did the stunt cars for Batman movie when they filmed it here a few yrs ago.

I told him what i wanted, and they custom make it to the car (and SCCA specs). Set me back about $900, and totally worth it.

Hey there!

Greg here, one of the new ACCCC AutoX coordinators.

Thanks to you all coming out to make Steve's and my inaugural Maywood event such a great success. Hope to see you (and more) on 7/17.

One of the things I wanted to do in taking over from the inimitable Mr. Press is getting our results issues up to snuff. I'd like to take baby steps first, and see how well we can improve things but my ultimate goal is to get things up within a week.

Hopefully I'll run next time and give you B-class GTI's a run in my nose heavy B6S4!

Thanks again.

Greg

Hey Greg, nice event last Sunday.

Let me know if you want any help with the results. We use the same software as you and while the system makes nice HTML reports that should be easy to post, we take it a step further and import into an excel spread sheet with multiple tabs for different views of the results (plus season points).

I'm talking to our webmaster to see what we can do. I know we do a little massaging to make it match the look and feel of the rest of the site. I do like the idea of season points though.

Thanks for the offer, I'll let you know if I need any help

Check your Spam folder, I noticed that mine went there as well as a subsequent "change password" request.

After you've checked your spam (or filtered) emails, if it still isn't there, shoot me an email at greg@audichicago.org. Did you register w/ username Sir Revalot?
