CITY VW

Post by WillsR32 » Tue Apr 06, 2010 4:56 pm

So first I want to give a shot out to CITY VW. Mainly Conrad and his crew at CITY VW!!! They took care of an issue I was having with my .:R, that FOX VALLEY VW said would cost me 400+ dollars to repair. The messed up part about this whole issue was the part/parts FOX VALLEY VW wanted to repair were not even damaged/non-functional. It was a simple fuse that was causing all my issues. I should have done a little more searching on my own instead of just believing FOX VALLEY VW, so it is not completely their fault.

Anyways, City VW has a new loyal customer!!! Once again THANK YOU to Conrad and the crew down at CITY VW!!! If you are not taking your VW down to City VW for repairs and maintenance you need to reconsider who you want working on your VW. Professionals or some random HACK!!!

Yes, we should be there, depending on how crazy GLD is on Saturday. Not to sure if I can convince the lady to spend the whole weekend doing VW stuff. LOL, However I want to go!!! Maybe I can convince her to go in order to get my CVO membership paperwork turned in, I know I can do it online but this just might be enough to convince her. EVIL LAUGH!!!

Haha I imagine GLD is going to be pretty crazy since it's only the second weekend and it's still just a spectators fee to race.

Do you have to make an appointment or not? About how long did the ECU Flash take? I am sure I can call for all this information. I just wanted to make sure before I called.

Do CVO members get any kind of discount??? ??? ??? ???

Appointments are preferred, it takes about an hour to do. CVO members don't get charged labor ($64)

Thank you. Makes me what to call them up. Itching to do it but have not convinced myself it is worth it yet.

APR Tuning is complete and I have had a few days to enjoy the mod. I can say at first I was skeptical about how much of a difference the tuning would be. But now I am convinced!!! There is a huge difference and I can say I do not want to go back to stock ever!!!

Yup, if it was anything like my car, it takes awhile to fully adapt to the new settings. And once it does, what a difference!

Save your pennies and put the money forward. You are only holding yourself back from a good 30hp+ and you don't get your hands dirty either.

Sorry for the revive,

Was just wondering if Conrad is still doing the ECU flash at City VW? I bought my 02 Passat there last year and I would rather have them do the flash then some guy in a garage.

And if so, is there one for a 2002 2.8 30v Passat? I don't think APR does one for that model, but I think other tuning companies do.

Thanks
