this idea is been spinning in my head for so long so i gave it a shot and it works an affordable way to make coilovers and to slam your car better than manufacture coilovers so you don't have to cut the strut towers no,no,no..so watch the clip and enjoy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2FMgLxxWLs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

also i recommmend trying this only on light weight cars example vw mk1-3 8v but i would like to try it on mk4 -6 but no test subjects ..lol :lol:

charlie the wicked fabricator :hmmm:

I would like to know how they work for you. Have they been installed yet? Your video looks like it was in the middle of winter. I have to give you props for being creative, although I am 100% positive they will not be better then manufactures coilovers and I myself would be a bit on the fence to trust them....there is a reason true coils cost what they cost.....as they are tested and are backed by a warranty.

I recommend checking out the roundy round race shops for great deals on coilover sleeves, hats and springs if you want to cobble together your own setup.

I use the Ground Control stuff myself because they are extremely good quality.
